We meet each month at Whistable Rugby Club
This business networking event is great for people in the Whitstable area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.
Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshment we will have a guest speaker or a mini workshop.
This month our speaker is Ruth Cooper-Dickson. Ruth is an Applied Positive Psychology Practitioner, she holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, coupled with accreditation as an EMCC Coaching Practitioner.
Ruth’s lived experience of burnout, breakdown and her journey of navigating a diagnosis of two anxiety disorders, is where the passion has been born to support individuals find their own meaning and purpose, coupled with investing in their Mental Wealth.
Her topic is –Born this way! Understanding Imposter Phenomenon
In this short masterclass Ruth will walk us through the fundamentals of what Imposter Phenomenon is, how we can recognise it in ourselves, the ways it shows up and practical ways to move out of it, with follow-up activities to complete post session.
Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.
You must book in advance. Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees. Regular attendees can gain access to a free meeting for the following year, a 5-10 minute speaker slot, listing on our Business Directory and a SM post on our Facebook and twitter pages, after attending for 8 meetings in a year (Jan-Dec).
Although this Whitstable business networking group is aimed at Mums in business we welcome anyone along, so just book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.
