Whitstable Businesswomen UnLtd Business Networking Event – This is our 6th Birthday!

This group is run by Catherine Chapman from Bodyworks Pilates & Aesthetics

We meet each month at Whistable Rugby Club

This business networking event is great for people in the Whitstable area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.

Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshment  we will have a guest speaker or a mini workshop.

Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.

You must book in advance.   Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees. Regular attendees can gain access to a free meeting for the following year, a 5-10 minute speaker slot, listing on our Business Directory and a SM post on our Facebook and twitter pages, after attending for 8 meetings in a year (Jan-Dec).

This Whitstable business networking group is for women in business simply book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.

THIS MONTH’S GUEST SPEAKER TOPIC

At the meeting this month, Carli Wall will be speaking to us about how to ‘Slay Your Day’, and be super organised.

Being disorganised or having no structure in your working day wastes time, and causes unnecessary stress. Trying to cram too much into your day, or not knowing what you’re meant to be doing and when, can result in feeling like you’re always working, or constantly trying to catch up and get everything done. You also risk forgetting things, or missing appointments, meetings or calls.

Not truly knowing how much time you have available, means you don’t know if you can realistically fit in that last-minute rush project from a client you just said yes to. Do you actually have the time to service the amount of clients you need to hit your targets? Are you able to spend time developing your business to grow, as well as doing your existing work?
