We meet each month at Whitstable Rugby Club

This business networking event is great for people in the Whitstable area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.

Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshment  we will have a guest speaker or a mini workshop.

Let’s face it – all businesses have to sell. Whatever you’re peddling; be it a product, a service or indeed yourself, we are all flogging our wares one way or another. But are you a Del Boy or a Rodney? Do you have the gift of the gab to turn that first enquiry into the punter parting with their pounds?

With her performance background, Lou will not only take you through the art of bigging yourself and your business up, but also the tricks of the theatre trade if you’re also paralysed with fear by public speaking and presentation.

Of course a posh peep would give this little talk the sophisticated title of ‘The Key To Effective Communication’ but for those of you who know me…

Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.

You must book in advance.   Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees.
