We meet each month at St Benedicts Church Hall.
This business networking event is great for people in the Hemel Hempstead area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.
Our event has open networking time from 9.30 am -10 am (so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10 am) and then we start at 10 am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. We will then hear from our guest speaker or we will run a mini workshop.
Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group.
You must book in advance. Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees.
Although this Hemel Hempstead business networking group is aimed at Mums in business we welcome anyone along, so just book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.
This month our speaker is Zoe Douthwaite, with the topic of ‘Turning what you know into an online course’.
If you have ever wanted to create an online course but had no idea where to start or even what to include in the course then this talk is one not to missed. Zoe will be talking about online course creation, using the learning management system (LMS) platform called Thinkific. She will navigate you through the course platform, how to create the course and ideas for creating a landing page so enticing that the reader will have no option but to dive right in.
Zoe Douthwaite has been running her own Virtual Assistant business for over 5 years and before that was a company director for a service based company for 12 years. Over the past 2 years she has moved into more technical assistance for business owners who require automated systems to ensure a smooth customer journey. Also during this time she sharpened her skills as an online course aide and has helped several clients to create and deliver courses, one of those recouping their investment within two weeks of the course going on sale. She supports with website updates, project management, newsletter creation, as well as other adhoc administration and technical tasks required for business owners to succeed and deliver a seamless customer experience.
