Get started with  Social Media is the course is for businesses who want to start using social media.

Over 85% of people now search online for the services and goods they want, therefore if you are a small business and are not using these platforms you could be potentially missing out on valuable business leads.

This social media course is ideal for you if  are confused with all the options and havent a clue where to start or what to do.  And if the whole thing scares you and makes you nervous then this is the social media course for you!

This will be carried out in a small group of 9 people maximum to ensure each person gets attention.

The course will cover the following areas-

• The choice of platforms available ( Focusing on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram) and an explantion of what each platform offers business owners
• A discussion about which plaforms to focus on that would be most benefical for your business
• How to set up the profiles and what vital things you must consider when doing so
• Tips to build a following
• Content ideas

This is a basic course for people who are not currently using social media or who have set up an account and not used it.

Addtional Information

The venue has computers so you do not need to bring a lap top. If you have already set up profiles ensure you know your password.

Refreshments will be provided but we have reduced the cost of the training session by excluding lunch so please bring your own lunch and there are outlets nearby if you wish to purchase something on the day.

Notes will be provided but please bring your own pad and pen

Parking – the venue itself does not have parking. There is pay & display parking outside the Education Centre on High Street Edgware and after 11am there is free onroad parking  in Grove Road, Fernhurst Gdns and Hillside Drive so it will be possible to move cars at coffee break or lunch break.

The nearest main car park is The BroadWalk Centre, Station Road, Edgeware HA8 7BD. The long stay car park has a day rate of £4.00 this is a 5 mins walk away.

The trainer for this course is Debbie Gilbert, owners of Businesswomen UnLtd, Viva Business Support and The Best Business Women Awards who has successfully built her businesses using social media.  She has been using social media marketing since it started. She will share valuable experience, working practices and insights plus information that you can put into practice straight away and more importantly that really works.
