We meet each month at Paradise Wildlife Park.
This business networking event is great for people in the Cheshunt, Broxbourne area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.
Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshement we will hear from our guest speaker, Karen Witchalls-Plunkett who will be giving us Presentation Hints, Tips & Techniques.
Nerves and confidence can play a big part when giving a 1 minute pitch, speech or presentation!
The aim of this interactive talk is to help you over come these fears to win trust, friends and gain business.
Using tried and tested body language & vocal techniques whilst having a lot of fun the aim is to help you stand out from the crowd with professionalism, pose and confidence!
Karen is a broadcast journalist & trainer whose background in Theatre, TV and Radio spans over 25 years. She presents extensively for corporate clients both in the UK and Internationally at conferences, facilitating events, product launches and videos.
Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.
You must book in advance. Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees. Regular attendees can gain access to a free membership after attending for 8 meetings in a year.
Although this Broxbourne and Cheshunt business networking group is aimed at Mums in business we welcome anyone along, so just book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.
