Amersham and The Chalfonts 22 02 23

Amersham and The Chalfonts Businesswomen UnLtd is a business networking group aimed at Mums but we do welcome anyone along!

This group is run by Carole Bozkurt from The Blueprint Practice

We meet each month at The Ivy House pub.

This business networking event is great for people in the Amersham and The Chalfonts area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.

Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break we will hear from our guest speaker or host a mini workshop.

Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.

You must book in advance.   Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees.

This Amersham business networking group is for women in business simply book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.

Our keynote speaker for February is the AMAZING Sylvie Lowe.

Sylvie Lowe is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in France but came to the UK as an au au pair in 1970 after living in Italy for a year and never went back home. She worked as a member of the British Airways Cabin Crew when she first started work, then became a manager until her department was moved to Newcastle. She then started several businesses such as gardening, French tuition, and finally, having previously done training for British Airways she started doing Conflict Resolution Training for several NHS Trusts. For the last 7 years, she ran a make-up and colour analysis business until the Pandemic.

Sylvie will be talking about having a Plan B whether you are working or not. Making money work for you and the importance of taking control of your retirement and looking at options to boost your pension.

In particular, Sylvie’s talk will focus on:

Enhancing your pot of money be it pension or salary
Having choices and taking pressure of money worries
Being part of a supportive Community
