We meet each month at The Ivy House pub.
This business networking event is great for people in the Amersham and The Chalfonts area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.
Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshments we will hear from Ellie Good Illustration who is talking about “Easy Ways to Green Your Life and Business”.
Ellie is a graphic designer and illustrator with an active interest in sustainability. Graphic design work includes brand identity, web/print work for charities and SME’s. Ellie also sells her own range of illustrated and sustainably-made wares, which help support environmental charities. In 2018 Ellie launched The Shift, to help people make greener lifestyle choices, and she recently became involved with Parents for Future UK, supporting the youth climate strikes and engaging adults with climate change issues. Ellie is always up for collaborations and commissions, so please get in touch if you have a suitable project!
In keeping with this month’s theme we are having a book swap at this month’s meeting. With the summer holidays coming up you might be looking for some holiday reading. So bring along any books that you want to share and let’s get swapping!
Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.
You must book in advance. Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees.
Although this Amersham business networking group is aimed at Mums in business we welcome anyone along, so just book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.
